The Pinnacles

260km North of Perth, you can find Nambung National Park. They are the fossillised remains of an ancient forest which stretches eerily across the desert landscape. Best approached by 4WD or bus tour with an experienced driver.

Snow-skiing and High Country

Snow-skiing and High Country: The best time for skiing is between June and September. Mt Buller, 237km north-east of Melbourne, on the snowy Mountain high plains, is an excellent ski resort. Further north, Bogong National Park is a mix of fertile valleys, wide open plains, forests and mountains. It is ideal for camping, bush-walking or horse riding. There are excellent ski resorts at Falls Creek, Hotham Heights and Rocky Valley. Enjoy the comfort of Alpine lodges.
