Paco Church

It is actually a former municipal cemetery for the well-heeled and established aristocratic Spanish families. Again this is one of the edifices built during the Spanish regime completed in 1820.

On December 30, 1896, Dr. Jose P. Rizal, was interred in Paco Park after his execution in Bagumbayan (Luneta). In 1966, the park was converted into a national park during the term of President Diosdado Macapagal.
