Wangaratta

Wangaratta: 235km north-east of Melbourne, is a major regional center for wool, wheat, hops, table grapes, and dairy products. The air world Museum, in the Wangaratta, houses an international collection of flying antique civil aircraft. Glenrowan, just 16km south-west, is where the notorious bushranger. Ned Kelly, was captured after a bloody gunfight at the local hotel. The tourist center features information on the Kelly Gang. Easily accessible by car.
