Brisbane Forest Park

Brisbane Forest park encompasses a total area of 26,500 hectares of State Forests, dams and reservoirs, National Parks and much of Brisbane’s mountainous hinterland. Picnic areas, walking tracks through the rainforest, lookouts and recreational areas are all part of the well managed forest park. At Bellbird Grove you can see the remains of an early gold prospecting mine. For details about the flora, fauna and all this vast area has to offer visitors, obtain a free copy of the Forest Park map and guide from the BVCB or visit the information center at 60 Mt. Nebo Road, The Gap.
